Yes, we know about products and treatments but what about things that are not too much talked about?

These are the 5 ways to prevent  premature aging and damages to your skin:

1)  This is an obvious one that i keep talking about and i will talk again:) because it’s so important!

SUNSCREEN!

This is the most important thing with protecting our skin and preventing premature again.

90% of skin damages caused by sun exposure. Think sun spots, wrinkles, fine lines, acne and more.

And yes, i heard tons of excuses like “it feels like a chore”

“It feels like an extra step”

“It is not so sunny”

And more and more….

Trust me, as someone who wears sunscreen every day of the year, no matter the weather, this is not just preventing but also correcting.

2) Sleep.

The studies are out there, the connection between lack of sleep and aging is real. Not getting enough sleep weakens your skin and make it more sensitive to environmental exposures and there. Loosing hours of sleep will speed up the process of aging so quickly, it linked to lack of skin cells regeneration which will slow down the process of creating fresh, new like baby, skin cells.

3) Stress reduction…

I know that maybe hard, but,  stress increases cortisol, cortisol increases again. Pretty simple…

Your emotional and stability state are so so important, for everything, and here as we talk, for your skin.

What calms you down? For me it’s meditations, non negotiable, every morning. Exercises , dancing and music.

Whatever it is for you, see it as a must, mental health and skin aging.

People who live in constant stress can really see their skin goes down the toad.

4) Sun glasses.

Can be really helpful to prevent premature ageing because when you constantly squeezing your eyes you speed up the wrinkles around your eyes, it will help prevent it, just like SPF.

5) Tanning beds, or just go out and tanning.

I don’t know why tanning beds are still there, to my opinion they should be banned. They are so bad for you, they age your skin so rapidly, drastically, and increase the risk of skin cancer.

The temporary tan simply don’t worth it.

(If you really want that tan use some kind of tanning product.)
Tanning? DON’T DO IT.  Not worth your skin being 10 years older then you!

Now, I don’t want to contribute to the conversation of fear of ageing, aging is a privilege, not everybody get to have it. But i do want to show you how you can simply have ways to prevent the unnecessary, premature one.
