I’m loving DIY toning wipes!  It’s a DIY I’ve been thinking about for quite sometime, it’s so refreshing and easy, you would love it!

One function of using a toner is to further cleanse the skin after using a cleanser.  However, I used to, in the past, to use my toner the lazy way and spritz it over my skin rather then use a cotton round to wipe over the skin.  Without the wiping action, the extra cleansing benefits just aren’t there.  By adding the cotton rounds to the toner, it made this important step of a skin care routine so incredibly easy.

I decided to use The Flower Toner (which contains Rose water, Geranium water, Lavender water) along with peppermint essential oil for a beautifying yet cooling sensation.  It was an odd blend of scent that really worked well!

I also added aloe vera gel for extra hydration and healing. (the benefits of Aloe Vera for your skin)

Here is your recipe for The DIY toning wipes:

INGREDIENTS:

1/4 cup aloe vera gel

1/3 cup of the Flower Toner

10-15 drops of Peppermint or spearmint essential oil

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Using a a glass jar, size of a cup (with a lid), add cotton pads.  I added enough that when they were dry, they stuck out of the top about an 14 cm..
  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and slowly pour over the cotton pads.
  3. Close the lid of your jar and thoroughly mix the liquid with the cotton pads so that all the cotton pads are saturated.
  4. If you don’t have enough liquid to soak each pad, feel free to add more of the wet ingredients over the top.  Extra witch hazel, aloe or rose water will just be extra beneficial!

I hope you enjoy these DIY  toning wipes as much as I have.  I’m all out of my toning wipes and it’s time to make more since they were such a hit!!
